![]() ![]() Hooray! This seems like a very cool time saver. The new release appears to try making that process a little smarter (hence I guess you could call this a Smart Cut feature), so that if I select that same text and cut out the selection, the background left in its place actually matches the surrounding gray. I would then use the Fill tool to select from the gray region, and fill in the transparent cutout so that it matches the rest of the image. ![]() In past releases, if I have a gray background, and I select some text, then Cut, that region would be cut out of the image, and a transparent rectangle would be left in its place. My issue is that the behavior of selecting a region and choosing Cut or Delete has changed. And as best I can tell, with very, very little documentation, the Smart Move feature appears to be a step in the right direction. There are some welcome additions such as using OCR to edit text in place. I'm an early adopter, I guess, and I'm using SnagIt 2018.
